EAB Navigate for Faculty

Saint Louis University utilizes EAB Navigate, a student success management system that links administrators, advisors, instructors, staff and students in a coordinated care network designed to help proactively manage student success from orientation to graduation.

Navigate allows advisors, faculty mentors and academic support staff access to key student data, proactive interventions, and to manage student appointments and interaction. Through Navigate, users can communicate and coordinate outreach and care to SLU Billikens.

EAB Navigate is a platform designed for faculty and staff to assist with the following:

  • Appointment management
  • Enhanced communications
  • Early Alert
  • Reporting of services and activities

How do I get access to EAB Navigate for myself or others in my office?

To request access, you need to complete the form at .

How often is the data in EAB Navigate updated?

Data in Navigate is pulled from Banner nightly. Any changes made to a student鈥檚 record in Banner will be reflected in Navigate the following day.

Are student notes or appointment summaries subject to FERPA?

Yes, all student information stored in EAB Navigate is part of a student鈥檚 educational record and subject to FERPA.

Who or what determines how much access to data I have in the tool?

EAB Navigate has different 鈥渞oles鈥 within the tool, which depend on your job responsibilities.

Can I obtain training on EAB Navigate?
