DCHS Promoted Faculty Recognized at Reception
A reception for newly tenured, promoted and emeritus faculty was recently held at Saint Louis University. Faculty receiving promotions in rank in the Doisy College of Health Sciences were recognized during the reception.
- Julia Henderson-Kalb, O.T.D., was promoted to associate professor in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy
- Elaina Osterbur, Ph.D., was promoted to professor in the Department of Clinical Health Sciences
- Amanda Reed was promoted to associate professor in the Department of Clinical Health Sciences
- Andrea Vaughan was promoted to associate professor in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences
- Barb Yemm, D.P.T., was promoted to professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training
Michael Lewis, Ph.D., University provost, and Fred Pestello, Ph.D., University president, provided opening remarks and recognized all faculty at the university receiving promotions this year.
Bernard Rousseau, Ph.D., dean of the Edward and Margaret Doisy College of Health Sciences at Saint Louis University, said he was especially proud of the recognition of college faculty and their exceptional contributions to the academic community.
“The Doisy College of Health Sciences congratulates faculty receiving promotions in our college this year," Rousseau said. "These professional milestones represent a significant achievement in the life of the academy. These recognitions provide evidence of the contributions and impact of our faculty in their professions and in their commitment to our teaching, research and service mission."
