SLU Libraries Announce Improvements
08/29/2024
Over the summer, Saint Louis University Libraries made improvements to the discoverability and access of resources in response to feedback from the SLU community.
There have been two major platform updates:
- The Libraries' Databases A-Z website received a refresh, making it easier to navigate to the databases needed for research and to see what's new.
- "Find It @ SLU" full-text linking was updated in SLU Libraries' research databases to connect users to the full text of research articles more reliably. You'll find easier options to access full text, request articles the library doesn't have, and get help if you're stuck.
The Library team has also been working to make other collections like streaming media, ebooks, and audiobooks more easily discoverable when searching the catalog.
Additionally, MOBIUS lending is back. Users can request books from other libraries in SLU's consortium by using the MOBIUS catalog. The new platform is still undergoing improvements so users are encouraged to let Saint Louis University Libraries know if they have any feedback.
