Career Services Hosting World Wide Technology Day

World Wide Technology Day at SLU will be Tuesday, Oct. 1. The day will feature networking sessions, a fireside chat and more.
World Wide Technology, Inc. is a privately-held technology services provider based in St. Louis, Missouri. The company's CEO is Saint Louis University alum Jim Kavanaugh.
The event will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at various locations across SLU's campus. WWT Day will provide you with an opportunity to network with the WWT team, hear from SLU alumni, and learn about WWT's award-winning internship program.
Guests are encouraged to register in advance, but can also by any of the events to participate.
World Wide Technology Information Session
- 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in the Career Services Lobby
- Join the early career team from World Wide Technology to learn about World Wide Technology, WWT's company culture, career opportunities and the skills needed to succeed.
Networking Workshop
- 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. | Career Services Lobby
- Learn how to make great connections during this interactive networking workshop. Join the WWT team for a chance to learn and practice networking skills.
Ready. Set. Search: Job/Internship Search and Professional Skills Workshop
- 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. in the Center for Global Citizenship
- During Ready. Set. Search, the World Wide Technology recruitment team will talk about job and internship search skills and how to bring your professional self to the interview process.
Fireside Chat and Twisted Path Career Panel
- 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Career Services Lobby
- Hear directly from WWT employees about how they navigated the twists and turns that come with building a career after graduation. Learn how each of the panelists got to where they are today, and what they wish they would have known as a student.
