Practice Areas

Qinglei Cao received his B.E. degree in information and computational science from Hunan University in 2009. After undergraduate, he served as HPC Software Developer & Research Scientist at the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) until 2013. He got his M.E. degree in computer application technology from Ocean University of China in 2016. In 2022, he received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, advised by Dr. Jack Dongarra (Turing Award 2021). Before joining SLU, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow/Scholar with Dr. George Bosilca at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (2023) and a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) at Cerebras Systems (an AI chip startup company), Sunnyville, CA (2022-2023).
