Air Force ROTC Detachment 207

Detachment 207 at Saint Louis University develops leaders of character for tomorrows Air Force and Space Force.

The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) offers university students a distinguished pathway to becoming commissioned officers in the Department of the Air Force upon the completion of their undergraduate degree.

Within the AFROTC program, students engage in a comprehensive curriculum that covers leadership principles both theoretically and practically. In addition to classroom instruction on leadership and management, cadets participate in hands-on exercises and real-world leadership scenarios designed to enhance their skills and prepare them for future roles as officers.

The AFROTC curriculum emphasizes the importance of effective leadership, the application of leadership concepts, and the role of military leaders in contemporary society. By blending academic coursework with practical experiences, the program aims to develop cadets into highly capable leaders who are prepared to assume positions of increasing responsibility and purpose within the United States Air Force and the United States Space Force.

Overall, the design of the AFROTC program is to cultivate your leadership potential and equip you to excel as a future officer in the Air Force or Space Force.
