Ryan graduated from Parks College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics, majoring in Aviation Science. During his senior year, he served as a practicum flight instructor for two semesters and continued as part of the full-time flight instruction staff after graduation. Ryan has been instructing for over two years and currently holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate and Flight Instructor Certificate with single-engine, multi-engine, and instrument ratings. Originally from De Soto, Missouri, Ryan began flying at the age of fourteen and obtained his Private Pilot Certificate when he was 17. He is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and a former member of Civil Air Patrol, where he served as a safety officer.
