Frequently Asked Questions
Those donors who have established named scholarships and the students benefiting from those funds are invited to attend the event. The event is not open to all donors or all scholarship recipients. Instead, it is a chance for donors who have established specific funds to meet those Billikens who benefit from their generosity.
This year's annual scholarship dinner will take place on April 3, 2025, in the Busch Student Center Wool Ballroom (Lower Level, Room 170). Your prompt response to this event invitation allows us the time needed to reach out to students who have received your scholarship and invite them to attend.
Your attendance at SLU鈥檚 scholarship dinner allows donors to see the direct impact of their generosity. They are eager to hear about your experiences at SLU and post-graduation plans.
If you do not respond by the deadline, a staff member will follow up personally to explain the importance of your attendance.
Every effort ensures donors can meet students who receive their scholarships. Some exceptions may be if a student has a class or work conflict, is playing a varsity sport or is studying abroad. Other opportunities donors have to hear from their students include personalized videos and letters throughout the year.
If you do not have a student from your scholarship at your table, you will be seated with another Billiken benefiting from scholarship funding.
Complimentary parking will be available at Laclede Garage (3602 Laclede Ave.), and a shuttle service will be available to transport guests.
