SLU LAW’s J.D. program offers extensive courses and personalized interaction with nationally recognized professors. You’ll be directly exposed to practicing attorneys and clients through professional skills courses, SLU legal clinics and externship programs. Guest speakers who have diverse legal backgrounds and career experience — ranging from federal and state judges to partners, associates and corporate executives — provide students with a real-world approach to learning.

If going to law school full time is not for you because of your job or other obligations, SLU LAW provides the opportunity to earn a J.D. degree on a part-time basis through day or evening programs. More information
SLU LAW has partnered with select undergraduate institutions to provide a 3+3 program to students interested in pursuing their law degree. Through this program, students are eligible to apply to law school in their junior year. They will complete three years of undergraduate course work and three years of law courses, with the first year of law courses satisfying the requirements for the bachelor’s degree. This program allows students to graduate with their bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctorate in six years, saving the student tuition and time. More information
Saint Louis University School of Law’s Two-Year J.D. for Foreign Lawyers enables highly qualified candidates who have received their first degree in law outside of the United States to earn their J.D. degree in four semesters by granting them advanced standing based on their prior law studies. This degree is designed for foreign lawyers who would like to enhance their professional training by earning the same degree held by U.S. lawyers, but in a shorter amount of time. More information

For those holding a degree of law from a foreign country, the LL.M. in American law for foreign lawyers proÂgram offers opportunities to study the American legal system.
Our Summer Institute is a conditional acceptance program designed to identify students with the high degree of personal motivation necessary to succeed at SLU LAW and give those students a chance to demonstrate the ability to be competitive in a law school class. More information
