Care Manager/Counselor
Sydney Washington is a licensed professional counselor in Missouri. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies from Webster University and received a Master of Arts in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University. Sydney is currently working on a doctoral degree in developmental psychology at Walden University.
Sydney has more than 10 years of experience working with children and families in various capacities as a classroom teacher, case manager, mentor, intervention specialist and therapist. Sydney has experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, grief and loss, and adapting to life change such as separation and divorce. Sydney also has experience using solution-focused therapy and believes in the use of cognitive behavioral therapeutic strategies to facilitate changes throughout one's life. Sydney is also a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.
