Choose Where to Make an Impact

Donating to a designated fund lets you direct your gift toward a particular area of SLUSOM, and strengthen the things that matter most to you.

Scholarship and Education

Annual Fund

Allows the School of Medicine to designate funds as needed.

School of Medicine Dean's Education and Research Fund

For investigators to accelerate their basic, clinical and translational research, we must increase the availability of seed grants to start programs and grow ideas. Your support of the Dean's Education and Research Fund will make this work possible.

White Coat Scholarship Fund

We strive to make our high-quality medical education more attainable for students. Many of our students rely on scholarships and your support helps lower the cost barriers for our students.

Health Sciences Building Fund

To attract, engage and challenge our learners we must provide an excellent learning environment.

Give to establish a new Health Sciences Building.

About Saint Louis University School of Medicine

The School of Medicine trains physicians and biomedical scientists, conducts medical research and provides health services on a local, national and international level. Beyond the important objective of training competent physicians who are scholars of human biology, we strive to graduate physicians who manifest in their personal and professional lives an appreciation for what may be called humanistic medicine.

Grounded in Jesuit values, we serve our community. Our region faces challenges of poor health indicators, education, poverty and racism. The School of Medicine continues to work for health equity and the well-being of our neighbors.

We embody cura personalis (“care for the whole person”). Our work at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine goes beyond training physicians to be scholars of the human body. We graduate doctors who appreciate humanistic medicine, concern themselves with the sanctity of human life and commit to dignity and respect for all patients. In short, the medicine we practice is changing lives for the better.

The medicine we practice is changing lives for the better.
