A New Enrichment Program at Four St. Louis Public Schools Elementary Schools
Kick & Code is a collaboration among the Saint Louis University Center for Ignatian Service (robotics/coding), St. Louis CITY SC (soccer/health), the Incarnate Word Foundation (literacy), and four St. Louis Public Schools elementary schools.
The pilot program delivers innovative after-school programming that exercises students’ minds and bodies through play. Through hands-on, age-appropriate activities, students learn computer science, design engineering concepts, and spatial awareness while developing their literacy, math, social-emotional, health, and athletic skills.
Kick & Code meets twice per week: one day for soccer and one day for robotics. The program expects registered students to attend both weekly sessions for the duration of the semester.
