Saint Louis University departments are eligible to receive certain software and hardware discounts. These discounts vary based on special promotions from each company, and each vendor has specific ways to receive SLU's discount.
Hardware Discounts
Saint Louis University has worked with both Apple and Dell to offer SLU students, faculty and staff discount pricing on laptop and desktop computers. Benefits may include:

Saint Louis University and Apple Inc. offer SLU students, faculty and staff Apple for Education discounts. This partnership allows the SLU community to take advantage of special discount pricing on Apple laptops, desktops and mobile devices.

FAQ About SLU Hardware Discounts
All SLU faculty and staff have the ability to purchase devices using the instructions above. Please work with your business manager on purchases.
Software Discounts
Saint Louis University has an enterprise agreement with Adobe to provide all full-time faculty and staff with Adobe Acrobat Pro. All SLU-managed workstations assigned to faculty and staff will already have Adobe Acrobat Pro installed on their workstation. You may need to log into it using your first.last@slu.edu email and choosing School/Business if prompted.
ITS maintains a limited number of Creative Cloud licenses that can be assigned based on the business justification. If you need to request an Adobe Creative Cloud license please fill the following .

Obtaining Atlas Ti for a University Device
- Payment of the $85 per license can be made through Workday using the Internal Service Delivery (ISD) module. Cost Center: E75
- In the ISD, indicate this is for Atlas Ti licenses and please provide computer names for each of the machines for which a license is needed and the contact person for the device
- Upon proper receipt of the ISD, an ITS Service Ticket will be entered in for the devices. ITS will install or update the license through the Software Center on the named computers.

The University has purchased a set number of SAS licenses that ITS is able to resell to University departments. These licenses are purchased on an annual basis.
Each computer will need its own yearly subscription.

License Dates and Price
The yearly license dates are Aug. 1-July 31 the following year, regardless of your actual date of purchase. The price is $145 for an individual license. The following bulk rates apply:
- 10-19 machines: $140 per license
- 20-29 machines: $135 per license
- 30-39 machines: $130 per license
- 40+ machines: $125 per license
- Server License: $600 per server
When using bulk-rate discounts, departments are responsible for providing all information at the time of purchase. All machine names, customer names and contact information must be provided during the initial submission. Standing IDOs or add-ons will not be accepted. If additional machine licenses must be purchased at a later date, then individual licenses or a smaller bulk rate will be used.
Obtaining SAS for a University Device
Payment for the total number of licenses can be made on Workday using the Internal Service Delivery (ISD) module.

In the ISD, indicate this is for Atlas Ti licenses and please provide computer names for each of the machines for which a license is needed and the contact person for the device
Upon proper receipt of the ISD, an ITS Service ticket will be created for the machines ITS will install or update the SAS license through the Software Center on the named computers.
Please ensure that the machine SAS is to be installed on is a Windows 64-bit machine. No software or licenses are available for 32-bit machines.
Software for University machines must be pushed out through the Software Center. Local installations are not available due to the size of the install files.

- 20 - 29 machines: $80 per license
- 30 - 39 machines: $78.50 per license
- 40+ machines: $75 per license

If additional machine licenses must be purchased later, then individual licenses or a smaller bulk rate will be used.
Obtaining SPSS for a University Device
Please call 314-977-4000 and speak with a Service Desk rep. to put in a service request ITS will install or update the license through the Software Center on the named computers.
Please ensure the machine is connected to the University network during the installation or update. Software for University machines must be pushed out from the Software Center. Local installations are not available due to the size of the installation files.
