The Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship program at Saint Louis University exclusively uses the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
Requirements
Applications for the Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship, beginning July 1, 2025 are only accepted through the ERAS system. Direct emails to the program leadership team are discouraged and will receive an auto-response. All applications must be submitted through . The system opens for applicants on July 3, 2024.
We will begin reviewing applications on July 17.
Applications will be reviewed once they include the following minimum requirements:
- ERAS Application
- Curriculum Vitae
- Letter of recommendation from the residency Program Director
- At least 2 additional letters of recommendation
- Medical school transcripts
- MSPE (if applicable)
- USMLE transcripts
- Personal statement
- ECFMG Status Report (if applicable)
If any of the items listed above are missing, the application will not be considered. Applications for our program close on Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, at 11:59 a.m. CST. Any applications received after this time will not be considered. Invitations to interview will be extended solely through Thalamus.
Virtual Interviews for 2024
Interviews will be held virtually on the following dates:
- Friday, Sept. 6, 2024
- Friday, Sept. 20, 2024
- Friday, Oct. 4, 2024
The interview day starts around 8 a.m. and lasts until approximately 1 p.m. CST. A formal agenda will be provided.
We will have a one day only in-person visit to our campus to be able to tour the administrative area, clinics, and hospital. This is for your convenience and will have no effect on the rank list.
The Hematology and Oncology fellowship program at SSM Health/Saint Louis University participates in the National Residency Matching Process. Final selection of candidates who interview at SSM Health/Saint Louis University is made following the interview process with entry to the match scheduled in November. The NRMP has Match Day scheduled for noon ET on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024.
