Celebrate the 2024 holiday season with Saint Louis University at Christmas on the Quad.

Christmas on the Quad has quickly become a beloved Saint Louis University tradition, kicking off the holiday season the first Saturday in December. Stroll through campus while sipping hot chocolate, partaking in festive activities, singing along to Christmas songs and more! The evening concludes with a special blessing and tree-lighting ceremony on the Quad.
Event attendance is complimentary, but please register by Thursday, Dec. 5.
2024 Event Schedule
- 4:30 p.m.: Event begins
- 6:30 p.m.: Blessing and tree-lighting ceremony
The fun starts with a holiday movie playing during check-in at Simon Recreation Center. Refreshments will be available for purchase at food trucks, including Go Gyro Go, Homestyle Grill and TreauX's Cajun BBQ, and at a holiday cheer garden or hot chocolate bar. Visit with Santa, take a selfie with the Billiken and don't forget to stop by the craft station, face painters and other family-friendly activities.

by Dec. 5. Attendance is free but your RSVP helps us ensure enough resources are on hand for everyone to enjoy the event.
Various activities will take place on the quad and at nearby locations on Saint Louis University's campus. The tree-lighting ceremony will be held on the lawn between Pius XII Memorial Library and DuBourg Hall.
Complimentary event parking will be available in the Laclede Garage, on the southwest corner of Grand Boulevard and Laclede Avenue.
