Visitor parking, generally denoted by blue pillars with the word "visitor" in white print, is available in designated garages. Currently, rates for visitor parking are $2 per hour or $6 per day per exit within a 24-hour period, with the exception of events at Chaifetz Arena. (These rates are subject to change. Contact parking@slu.edu for more information. )
During Chaifetz events, day-pass coupons, hour coupons, and other complimentary vouchers are not accepted in lieu of or toward payment of the event parking price. Only cash will be accepted for event parking.
For all other visitor parking, keep the following in mind:
- If you plan to pay with cash, please use the walk-up machines located in the garage prior to returning to your car to exit. Cash, credit cards or debit cards can be used at the walk-up machines. The pay in lane machines at each visitor exit in the garages only accept credit/debit cards.
- Some University departments may validate garage parking with a coupon under certain circumstances. Coupons are also available for purchase. Coupons must be used at the exit lane when leaving the garage; the walk-up machines do not accept coupons. Information on purchasing coupons can be found below.
- A $25 fee is issued for lost parking tickets.
