Saint Louis University's adult psychiatry residency program consists of eight residents per year. All applicants need to apply using the from the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).

We accept applications through ERAS only. Emailed or faxed applications will not be reviewed.

Application Deadlines

The deadline for submission of your ERAS application to be considered for the 2025 Match is Monday, Oct. 21, 2024. Early applications are encouraged.

Applicant Requirements

Your application is considered complete when we have received your ERAS application, personal statement, photo, three letters of recommendation, medical school transcripts, MSPE (dean's letter), ECFMG certificate (if applicable) and documentation of national USMLE or COMLEX scores.

We accept graduates from United States and Canada accredited by the , osteopathic medicine in the United States accredited by the , and from outside the United States who will be eligible for a valid certificate from the or have a full unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. licensing jurisdiction, or who have completed a Fifth Pathway program provided by an LCME-accredited medical school.  ECFMG certification will be required for onboarding after the Match.
