The ICP @ SLU (Ignatian Colleagues Program at Saint Louis University) is an immersive mission-formation experience open to faculty, staff and administrators of the SLU community. Cohorts of six to eight members are formed each fall and meet monthly during the academic year to discuss Ignatian scholarship, experience Ignatian spirituality and engage in Ignatian service. ICP @ SLU participants form a community of colleagues gathered around and strengthened by our common Ignatian heritage and Jesuit mission.
ICP @ SLU Curriculum
Over two academic years, cohorts will pursue an in-depth and hands-on exploration of the intellectual, spiritual, and service-oriented aspects of Ignatian thought and praxis. At the conclusion of the program, each participant will have presented a capstone project demonstrating the integration of their learning into their role at SLU.

History of the Ignatian Colleagues Program
Saint Louis University has participated in the since 2015. The national ICP 鈥渟eeks to develop Ignatian partners in Jesuit higher education who are capable of and committed to assuming leadership within the Ignatian spiritual and educational heritage and who will sustain their school鈥檚 Jesuit Catholic character into the future. It also seeks to enhance local, regional, and national networks of Ignatian leaders who work collaboratively to enrich Jesuit higher education.鈥
ICP @ SLU continues the good work begun by alumni of the ICP by inviting all SLU colleagues (faculty, staff, and administrators) to experience a similar opportunity, strengthen our mission to strive continuously to build upon our Catholic, Jesuit identity and promote activities that apply our intellectual and ethical heritage to work for the good of society as a whole.
To that end, ICP @ SLU is designed with the same basic structure and principles as the national ICP but specified to SLU鈥檚 local scholarly, spiritual and service realities. As a mission-formation program, ICP @ SLU is a two-year immersion into our Ignatian and Jesuit history, mission, and call as an educational institution in the St. Louis metropolitan area. ICP @ SLU is designed for any university employee, recognizing that every person in the community, regardless of position, role or creed, is a vital contributor to the lived mission of Saint Louis University.
